chelsea school
Paints Pots Montessori School Chelsea was Georgina Hood's second Montessori school, founded in 1998. The school is run by John MacGinnis (who joined in 1999), and Charlotte Forster (who joined in 2005). Their previous careers were in archaeology and ballet dancing respectively. The school has 35 places and is situated in a spacious hall in the Chelsea Community Centre in Edith Grove. It has a dedicated outdoor space which is used with a great deal of variety and imagination. In recent years the school has benefited from a development of block pay, both large hollow blocks in the outside provision and the perfectly devised unit blocks inside.
